This policy covers thegoldensignature.com. Smarterlift, the elevator software product operated by the same company, is a separate application with its own privacy policy, and this page does not describe it.

The short version

This is a marketing site. We collect analytics about how it is used, we use Google's advertising features which involve third-party advertising cookies, and if you send an enquiry we collect what you type into the form. Enquiry submissions are analysed by an AI system before we read them. We do not sell your information. You can opt out of the analytics and advertising collection using the links in the opt-out section below.

Enquiries are read by an AI system before a person sees them. When you submit the enquiry form, what you wrote is sent to a large language model hosted in our own cloud account, which drafts an internal summary of your project, an outline of what building it would involve, and a suggested price. That draft is e-mailed to us alongside your original message. It is used only to prepare our reply to you. It is not used to train any model, and it is not shared with anyone outside the company. If you would rather not have your enquiry processed this way, e-mail us directly at the address below instead of using the form.

Google Analytics and Google advertising features

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Signals enabled. Google Signals is an advertising feature. In practice this means:

We have implemented Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting.
First-party cookies set by Google Analytics (such as _ga) are used together with third-party advertising cookies and identifiers set by Google. Data about your visit here can therefore be associated with your activity on other sites and with your Google account where you are signed in.
We do not upload anything that personally identifies you, such as your name or e-mail address, into any Google advertising product.

How to opt out

Google's ad settings, which control the advertising and demographic collection described above: myadcenter.google.com.
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops Analytics entirely on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Industry opt-outs: NAI and DAA.
Your browser can block or delete cookies, and most support a "do not track" or tracking-prevention setting.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your enquiry to train AI models.
We do not send marketing e-mail to people who have not asked for it.

How long we keep things

Enquiries stay in our e-mail for as long as we may need them to work with you or to keep a record of the conversation. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. Ask, and we will do it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
